Charity apolitical

Charity is out of politics. After the Civil War, Baron, completely disillusioned in politics, left  occupied Kyiv and back in Gorodok, which appeared on Poland terytory, and was engaged in purely local affairs.

 Despite those hard years - Baron retained  some of his wealth. So he built tea-house where travelers could drink free teas, made road through the village, has gave funds for building  Hospital and Women's Gymnasium in Tyutkovychi village near Rivne. Till now inhabitants of Gorodok keep in their memories the Baron. He supplyed farmers with wod, livestock, grain, money, solved many everyday problems.

 Irina Lukashevich described an unusual case: "I had gone to the graves of Shteynhel family in Gorodok (the son Vladimir and Olga granddaughter) at the fence she saw the old man, who wept. We got talking. 87-year-old Fedor told naive and instructive story:when he was a young boy he cut the tree in Baron"s forest. Baron was reported, and Fedor was summoned to the castle. "The boy was affraid because he stole" . Baron, instead of punish the thief, asked in surprise: "If such a demand for wood, why not ask?" Everything was finished the same day at the court of the peasant drove the cart, loaded with logs ...

 "Believe me, - said Theodore - I have never stole any more for all my life.
